Crepes are an elegant and delicious dish… so you may think that they are really complicated to make. But the truth is, you don’t need to be a chef in order to make these— they are actually quite simple! At your next brunch, you can wow your friends and make this strawberry cream cheese crepe recipe!
I used to buy pre-made, packaged crepes at the grocery store. They were expensive, but I thought that it was worth it because I figured that I could never make them on my own. Being that I like to make money savvy decisions, I truly hated to spend the extra money on something that was definitely a want, rather than a need. So, I finally figured that I’d try to make them at home.
Much to my surprise, it was super easy!
If you use a non-stick pan, you are probably ok, but I personally use butter or cooking spray between making each crepe to ensure that they don’t stick to the pan.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepes
Of course, you can fill your crepes with anything that you want, but I think these strawberry cream cheese crepes are my favorite! Use a hand mixer to blend one block of softened cream cheese, add 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 2 Tbsp. milk, and a tsp. of vanilla. If you need more powdered sugar or milk to reach your desired sweetness or consistency, just add some amounts, a little at a time.

Spread the cream cheese mixture on the crepe and add sliced strawberries, wrap your crepe, and top with more strawberries, whipped topping, and even some yummy strawberry syrup!
