Feeling a little under the weather? Having a nice, warm cup of Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea may just be the answer! But if you don’t feel like heading out and about to your local Starbucks to order a cup, no worries… we have this this copycat recipe, and you won’t even be able to tell the difference!
I am absolutely a fan of Starbucks, but I am not always close enough to just run by and grab a drink. And, as you probably know, I love to be able to save money whenever I can. So, this copycat recipe will not only make you feel better, and super simple to make, but it will help you to save money too!
Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea Recipe
- Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea Recipe
- 1 teabag Teavana Jade Citrus Mint
- 1 teabag Teavana Peach Tranquility
- ½ cup hot water
- ½ cup Simply Lemonade or fresh lemon
- Honey to taste (raw and organic)
- Add a splash of apple cider vinegar (*optional)
As you are probably well aware, there is no medicine in this “medicine ball.” But the warmth and goodness of the tea, lemon and honey are bound to make you feel better… Now, even though I wouldn’t add this in for the “copycat” version of the recipe, I always add a little bit of apple cider vinegar, especially if I have a sore throat. There are so many health benefits of apple cider vinegar, it just seems like a good thing to add because it also has some immune boosting properties as well.
If you are feeling under the weather, I hope this warm cup of tea helps you to feel better! But you may also want to check out these natural flu remedies as well. And try this fresh beet root and carrot juice to give your immune system a bit of a boost this winter as well!
