This smoothie is low-fat, and can even be a healthy treat! But I also love to make a smoothie as a protein-boosting, after-workout recovery drink too.
Because I drink smoothies every day, I like to switch things up. I don’t always want the exact same flavor smoothie. I like to use fresh fruit when ever possible, but I also like to freeze fruit to add to my smoothies all winter long. So you could have this smoothie with fresh or frozen mango chunks.
The tropical flavors of this smoothie are going to take you in a bit of an island adventure!
Coconut, Cinnamon & Mango Smoothie
In a blender, add the following:
- 1 frozen banana
- sliced mango
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- coconut to taste
- cinnamon to taste
- ¼ cup Vanilla Juice Plus+ Complete protein
Blend until smooth…and enjoy! Top with cinnamon, coconut and whipped cream, if desired.
