All the flavors of the classic ice cream dessert that you love in one healthy and delicious drink. Is it breakfast? Is it dessert? Yeah… it’s both. You are definitely going to want to try this Banana Split Smoothie.

Remember the banana split ice cream treat that you loved as a kid? Now, you can have all those flavors in a healthy dessert smoothie…

Even though this smoothie is healthy, don’t be fooled… this recipe could easily be dessert! Or, if you are one to normally eat a donut or sugary cereal for breakfast, you might even be able to substitute this much healthier breakfast for those other empty-calorie breakfasts. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring (or perfect). Sometimes, it’s okay to indulge a bit. Top this smoothie with a some whipped cream… YUM!! A much healthier version of a “sweet” breakfast!

Banana Split Smoothie

In a blender, add the following:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 4 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pineapple (fresh or canned)
  • ¼ cup Chocolate Juice Plus+ Complete protein

Blend until smooth…and enjoy!
